TIP - Tuition Incentive Program

TIP is Christ the King's Tuition Incentive Program (TIP).  This inovative program has been in place for ten years at Christ the King.  It actually allows families to REDUCE their annual tuition.

This program allows families to earn their current year tution credit amount and they also can earn tuition credits for next year.  Families simply participate in the various school fund raisers run by the PTA.  The fundraisers are at stores and for products a family would purchase during the normal course of shopping.  Order forms are below (click on the link) and the list of fund raisers for the current year is below as well.

TIP Initiatives

Notification regarding initiatives will be communicated through the "brown envelope" sent home each week, listed on the school calendar, or found on our website www.ckrs.org. The initiatives for the current year are as follows:

On Going Initiatives

Grocery Gift Cards

Through the support of local grocery stores, CKRS families are able to purchase grocery gift cards through the school using a form found in the weekly newsletter, at the school front office, and by "home sellers". The value of these gift cards is the same as if you purchased them through the grocery store however, when you purchase through CKRS a percentage of the cash value is passed on to the family as TIP credit. For instance, if you purchase $200 worth of Shop Rite gift cards, you’ve earned $10 (based on current 5% credit) towards your TIP goal. Imagine, if you spend $200 weekly through the Grocery Gift Card program you’ve just about reached your goal by the end of the school year!

Zip Scrip

Again, through the support of local businesses, CKRS is able to offer gift cards for nationally known stores and local vendors. The TIP percentage credits varies depending on the store and are subject to change. Zip Scrip is available daily using a form found in the weekly newsletter which lists those vendors and the percentage credits.

Scrip

Similar to Zip Scrip, however the Scrip list of vendors and form are sent home biweekly. Additionally the list of vendors includes but is not limited to local vendors. An assortment of national restaurants, stores, gas stations and travel related services participate in this program. Scrip is due on the day following the distribution of the form and every effort is made to distribute gift cards by the end of the week.
