So what’s this TIP I keep hearing about?
The Tuition Incentive Program or more commonly known as TIP was put into place to ensure equitable distribution of the PTA school budget assessment. This is done through the mandatory contribution of Christ the King Regional School families. By enrolling your child at Christ the King Regional School each family accepts their obligation to participate in the TIP program. Currently the annual TIP goal per family is $425.

How do I meet my family TIP goal?
Each family has two options in meeting their annual TIP goal. You can either add the TIP amount to your tuition payment or you can participate in the various TIP initiatives which earns you credit towards your annual goal.
|
| |
How does this all work?
Depending on the initiative, you can begin earning credit as early as the first week of school. Look for
forms to be sent home weekly or information regarding TIP incentives/fundraisers to be shared with you
throughout the year. The initiatives available daily or weekly will be sent home in a “Red Envelope” with
your child or can be picked up at the school office. A TIP code is assigned to each family so that your
credit accrual can be tracked. This code is comprised of the first 3 letters of your surname and the the last
4 digits of your phone
number.

What if I exceed my goal?
Congratulations! Once you’ve met and exceeded your TIP goal you will be rewarded with a tuition credit.
This credit is equal to 75% of your TIP overage. The remaining 25% will be used for school enrichment
programs and school social events. Tuition credit may not exceed the amount of tuition paid by the family
during the year it was accrued. All tuition credit will be used as a credit unless a request is made to the
parish office for a rebate. Please consult your tax advisor regarding any possible tax implications that result
from your receipt of a tuition credit or rebate.
