On Saturday May 3^rd , The National Catholic Band Association sponsored a Band Festival at Villanova University with about 20  bands from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania participating.  Some of the members of the CKRS advanced band participated in this band competition.  Sister Michele announced at the May crowning that our band received one of the honors--a superior level.  There is no first or second place, the bands are awarded excellent, superior, etc. awards with five trophies awarded that day.  This was the first time our CKRS students have competed.  The following members participated (in order of picture)  Imani T., Katie H., Ryan D., Everett M., Peter G., Maureen O., Claire G., Nathan K., Jack S., Erin D. & Katie M..  Congratulations to our fine CKRS musicians and to our band director Jennifer Blair.
